May 5 - Combi-Camp

Today we worked on the Combi-Camp, making sure the wiring works with Dave's bike, and Dave replaced the wheel bearings. Tomorrow, we need to do some repair work on the cover, and generally clean it up a bit, vacuum the inside, take it for a test ride, things like that. But also tomorrow, Lucille is on her summit push, so I don't want to get too far away from her spot signal, or the phone. I'm hoping for a phone call from the summit.

The following pictures depict the horrific weather we have been experiencing here in Nanaimo this week. Alberta, you are not alone. We too are suffering.

You suffer Lots! Those flowers must just reek - and all that awful greenness everywhere. How can you stand it?

Thinking of you and tracking Lucille.

Stay strong you both.

Hi Ted
terrible, terrible weather you are experiencing on the 'Island in the Pacific!!".
We are all staying very close to our computers here at work and are watching her every step!! I am so excited. . . I have a graduation to go to tonight at 7:00 and can't wait till I get home to check up on her then!
Sounds like everything is going well for you too! take care and stay safe . . .Claudia

Hey Ted,
I have my whole school praying that Lucille has clear skies and minimal wind for her push. I have her spot on my laptop and I can barely concentrate on my job I'm so excited.

Put her phone call/gabcast on as SOON as you get it!!!
I can't wait.

Hey Wingnut:

I am watching Lucille's Spot, and it sure is looking good for her right now. I just want you to know that my heart and my prayers are with you as well as her right now.

Absolutely horrific weather... And to think, you only left a few days before it was all white here again! I told you it would snow while you were gone. :P
Hope you're having fun.
